What happens next?
Once we have received your application, one of our Volunteer Co-ordinators will contact you for an informal interview to explain the role in more detail, find out more about you, and answer any questions you might have. If you decide to go ahead, they will then follow up your references and if necessary, will apply for a Disclosure Scotland check. They will then take you through the induction and training process. This will include the responsibilities of ALE and our volunteers, the Code of Conduct and the Volunteer Agreement, and cover issues such as safeguarding, confidentiality and befriending boundaries.
